"Steele Magnolia's now the blacks need or have their own version of Steel Magnolia!"- White friend
Whiteness even wins over when it's opponent is religion.
Frustrated over the willingness of whites to stay blind and mute.
" Equal opportunity racists!"- White bartender (I am going to pin this E.O.R)
Somehow EOR erases all history of racism, therefore acceptable. I love the statements as though facts spoken by whites therefore is truth?

"Assuming good will..."
Why do people say " let's agree to disagree" when they really mean it's que phrase for, let's stop talking?
Why do people say " assume good will" when the results are the same regardless of will?
Why do people say " assume good will" when the results are the same regardless of will?
If I was a white woman
If I was a white woman would you believe me without question?
If I was a white woman, you've believed and believe in me, therefore your family and friends would believe in me too.
If I was a white woman would you be proud of me, just for being me?
If I was a white woman would you ever look at me with shame, disgust and disappointment?
If I was a white woman would you allow your family and friends to talk about me as though they know me?
If I was a white woman I would be proud to sustain the façade of a perfect marriage and a perfect relationship with my in laws and her racist family.
If I was a white woman would you protect our children unconditionally?
If I was a white woman the notion of protection would be fabricated by my own self imposed paranoia.
If I was a white woman, I would be comfortable and my comfort would not be challenged. Even the systems of power and decision-making would promise me that comfort.
If I was a white woman would you unveil your eyes and ears in ways you never have needed to before?
If I was a white woman I could be mute therefore swim in the privilege of not having to pay attention to the gossip and judgments made on my behalf.
If I was a white woman I would smile in the comfort and privilege.
If I was a white woman I wouldn't have to ever think or wonder about this.

2012 Presidential Debate Obama and Romney
Why are we still talking about food stamps?
Why can't we do math?
Why are we so afraid of taxes? We live in a country with a democratic government. We will need to entertain the idea of having to raise taxes in order to pay down the federal deficit. We have a deficit because of our capitalism philosophy of " never enough and more, more, more..."
Why do we think that miracles happen over night when people are not willing to make any sacrifices to get there?
Small business sounds good but Donald Trump is considered small business.
"More people working to pay more taxes," Mitt Romney.
Balance is a lost art in our political government and since we are becoming more polarized on both spectrums, we may never see it again.
I don't believe that Romney will be any better. In fact I believe that he will do more harm to people of color and poor people.
When private enterprise no longer compete or feel they need to is otherwise known as, monopoly.
Why would we need to reward private sector for creating jobs?
"Budgets reflect choices," President Obama.

Shit that happens to me.
Imagine, a quite, and cool autumn in the air kind of night. We heard a knock at the side door. My husband and our dog went to answer it. It was quite dehumanizing the moment the DNR treated my family as criminals. A moment forever tattooed in my soul, heart and mind. The ramifications are even still pending and it has been six months.
